Hebron, Burial Site of Abraham

[West Bank, Palestine] It all comes together here. Hebron is important to Jews, Muslims and Christians because it is the burial place of Abraham. I'm amazed when I find out things like that. Abraham. Abraham! But it's not just Abraham, it's Sarah too. Isaac and Rebecca, Jacob and Leah -- and get this, Adam and Eve! All are said to be buried in a cave beneath this great fortress like tomb.

Currently, Muslims worship on one side of the tomb and Jews on the other. But if you are Christian, you can visit both sides, so we did. The place is under pretty heavy security though. We had all our bags thoroughly checked four times.
